Saturday after Clark and Taylor's birthday we had a birthday party at home for them. We got each of them their own cupcake so they could blow out their own candles. Clark blew his out without any help, but Taylor needed a little more encouragement. After they ate their cupcakes they opened presents. The boys are obsessed with the movie Cars and cars in general. You can see the cake in the picture above is a Cars cake. The car on top is a real toy car, so I had to buy an extra one when I ordered the cake. Abuela and Abuelo got them some hotwheel cars from the movie and a Cars outfit. We got them a race track and some dinosaurs that growl and walk. They love all the cars they got. They were playing with the dinosaurs at first, but now they are scared of them. They have to have their cars with them everywhere. Taylor especially. He always has one in each hand and has to take them with him to the babysitters, church, in the van. Logan enjoyed all the extra attention he got too. Abuela and Abuelo got him a Cars outfit too. He is still layed back as ever and really enjoys being around people. He is finally settling into a routine and sleeping more at night. We are excited....we can definately use the sleep.
Friday night all three boys had a sleepover at our friends house. So we were kid-free for a whole night. Sad to say, we were actually home by 9 pm and I fell asleep on the couch by 10 pm. I guess that's what sleep deprivation does to you. One day I'll sleep again, but for now I'm enjoying the craziness of our house with two, 2 year olds and a baby. Clark and Taylor have finally started referring to me as mommy and I love the sound of it. I hope I never get tired of hearing it!
