Another week gone by

Another uneventful week has gone by...and that's a good thing.
Clark and Taylor are making progress with their language skills. Everybody keeps saying "just wait until they turn 2, they'll start talking". Well, I guess 2 really is a magical number. They turn 2 on the 13th of May and we are seeing changes in their speech daily. Taylor is content speaking their twin language, but he is using it a lot more with Clark and with us. He walked up to me on Friday and went on for at least a full minute explaining something to me in his language. I asked him if he brought his translator with him and he told me "No". He is using 'yes' and 'no' a lot these days. I asked him one day when he was being very silly whether he was going to be the class clown. He replied "Yes". Clark is still using their twin language, but every day he seems to learn a new word. Some of his favorites right now are car, truck, teeth. He's been saying car for a while, but on Friday he brought a car to me and told me "race car". I wish I could spell them how they really say these words because it's very cute...but I'm not that creative. They also both made huge progress when they actually talked to my sister Rebecca on the phone Saturday. They usually get quiet when we put the phone up to them to talk. But they both said her name and told her "bye-bye".
Logan has found his voice too. He will lay on the floor or they boppy pillow and just coo and laugh. He is getting so big so fast. He had his two month well baby Dr. visit a couple weeks ago (yes it was late...for those of you doing the math). He was 12 lb 6 oz and was 25 in long. He is in the 50% percentile for weight and the 90% percentile for height. He loves his older brothers. He'll be laying on the couch and you can see him watching them play with such admiration in his eyes. He can't wait to be up and playing with them.
